Cammeby's International Group (CIG) is planning to build a mixed-use complex in Brooklyn, New York, the US.

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex comprising a 14,957m2, seven-story retail and commercial tower at 626 Sheepshead Bay Road and a 40-story, 143m residential tower comprising 544 apartments at 532 Neptune Avenue.

It also includes the construction of an 8,361m2 ground-floor retail space, 800 parking spaces in first two floors, and an underground garage for parking 106 cars.

The project will be developed in two phases. The first phase will include the construction of the seven-story commercial tower and the retail component of the residential tower. The second phase will see the construction of the residential component of the tower at 532 Neptune Avenue.

The project includes the construction of a fitness center, an office space, a community center and related facilities.

On January 21, 2015, CIG conducted public consultations on the project plans.

CIG has appointed S9 Architecture and Engineering as architect, Winick Realty Group as the retail leasing agent for the community and the Lawrence Group as the leasing agent for the office space.

SLCE Architects filed plans in January 2015 and received planning approvals in June 2015.

Demolition plans were filed in April 2015 to knock down part of the strip mall, the low-slung building that used to house the Royal Palace Baths

Suffolk Construction has been appointed as a contractor for the project.

The first phase construction works commenced in August 2016 and are expected to complete in the third quarter of 2017.

The second phase construction is expected to commence by the fourth quarter of 2017.
