The project includes the construction of loading and unloading facilities, storage facilities, distribution units, an administrative space, parking and related facilities.

Oxalis Planning Limited has been appointed as a planning consultant, Michael Sparks Associates as an architect, FPCR Ltd as a landscape architect, Peter Brett Associates as a civil engineer, Pre-Construct Archaeology as archaeology consultant and Vanguardia as noise and air quality consultant.

On December 24, 2015, CHL submitted a rezoning application to the Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council and received approvals in September 2016.

On May 10, 2017, CHL submitted an outline planning application to the Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council and awaiting approvals.
