In April 2017, the commencement of work on the hospital project received approval after the completion of a financing deal for the project between CH and MPT.
Under the terms of the deal, CH will divest its long-term lease on the Birmingham site to an affiliate of MPT for a value of US$3.8 million.
As of August 2017, Construction activities are underway.
Construction is scheduled to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2018.
