In April 30, 2015, Confluência Energia won the project in A-5 energy auction conducted by the Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (Aneel) for 30 years.

In June 2016, study works are submitted to Instituto Ambiental Do Paraná – IAP.

The developers are waiting for the required approval from the planning authorities.
