Ryden LLP and Knightfrank were appointed as marketing consultants for the project.

In September 2014, MG through its Moorfield Real Estate Fund III acquired the project site from BP for US$55.5 million.

On December 8, 2014, BP and MG entered into a joint venture agreement for the project development.

The planning application has been submitted to the Aberdeen City Council’s for the development of 19ha of land on the site.

On May 30, 2016, Aberdeen City Council approved a Section 42 application to amend the use consent associated with expansion land at Aberdeen Energy Park.
