Blue Energy (BE) is undertaking the construction of Blackcraig Wind Farm project in Southern Uplands, Scotland, the UK.

On January 7, 2016, Siemens was appointed to supply 23 units of its SWT-2.3-93 onshore wind turbines of the Siemens G2 platform and construction works commenced.
The project received a financial loan of US$109 million from Temporis.
On January 19, 2017, first turbine lift was completed. Construction works are underway.
