In October 2012, Bellway identified the Penllergaer area as a potential mixed-use major development area in the Local Development Plan (LDP).
In January 2013, Asbri Planning on behalf of Bellway appointed a constant team to develop the project.
In August 2013, PAD Design prepared the Swansea LDP, preferred strategy and eventual deposit plan on behalf of Bellway.
The City and County of Swansea approved the project’s preferred strategy plan in August 2014.
On June 4, 2015, the City and County of Swansea held a special planning committee meeting on the LDP strategic site allocation submitted by Asbri Planning.
On January 28, 2016, public consultation on the project was held.
Planning activities are underway. Construction activities are expected to commence in the third quarter of 2018.
