Ballymore Group (Ballymore) and Oxley Holdings Ltd (Oxley) are undertaking the construction of Royal Wharf residential development project in the UK.

The project involves the construction of 3,385 homes on a 15ha area. The project is being executed in three phases.

First phase of the project involves the construction of 811 homes. The second phase includes 1,700 homes.

It includes the construction of retail units, access roads, parks, community centers and parking area and the installation of safety and security systems.

In May 2011, Ballymore has submitted the planning application of the project to the authorities.

Glenn Howells Architects and Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios have been appointed as design contractors, Townshend Landscape Architects as landscape architects and Mae Architects and Serie Architects as design consultants for the project.

In March 2012, Ballymore received planning approvals for the project. In November 2013, Ballymore signed contract with Oxley to jointly develop the project.

In October 2014, Ballymore and Oxley secured planning approval for the second phase of the project.

In December 2014, Mace was appointed as the construction contract for the first phase of the project and master planner for the whole project.

In March 2015, Mace left the Royal Wharf project, however the Ballymore and Oxley appointed Roundstone Construction Services as construction contractor for the first phase and second phase of the project.

Construction activities on the first phase and second phase are underway and expected to be completed by 2017.

The entire project is scheduled to be completed by 2019.

The project involves the construction of residential units on a 15ha area located at Royal Docks enterprise zone in London, the UK.

The US$1,500 million project includes the following:
