Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) and Mantri Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd (MIPL) is undertaking the construction of commercial hub and a metro station in Karnataka, India.
The project involves the construction of a metro station and twin towers comprising a 32-story residential complex and a 27-story commercial complex.
The total built up area of all the three structures will comprise 177,885m2 on a 58,837m2 area.
The project will include the construction of retail space, commercial space, platforms, residential units, ticket counters, food courts, 7 levels of parking space and access roads, and the installation of elevators, safety and security systems.
The metro station will be known as Mantri Square Sampige Road Station by virtue of the PPP agreement between BMRCL and MIPL.
In August 2013, Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) approved the plans for the station and twin towers.
The railway station was designed by BMRCL and constructed by MIPL.
In first quarter of 2014, construction works of metro station completed.
Construction work commenced in 2014.
Construction is underway for the twin towers and expected to be completed by August 2019.
