Block-Georgia, Ltd (BG) is planning to undertake the construction of a wind farm on the north bank of the Sevan Lake in central Armenia.
The project involves the construction of a 100MW onshore wind farm. It includes the construction of a substation, access roads, control building and related infrastructure, the installation of turbines with rotor blades, generators, transformers, and safety and security systems, and the laying of transmission lines.
In July 2016, North China Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (NCPE) of China Power Engineering Consulting Group was appointed as the EPC contractor for the project.
The project will be implemented in two parts, one part is the early stage development consulting and the other is the engineering construction stage.
NCPE will firstly assist BG to complete the wind resource assessment and feasibility study work of the project, and actively promote the Owner to contact with China's financial institutions to provide a good foundation for the project finance and then finally realize the goal of the contract performance.
