BBL Commercial Real Estate (BCRE) (headed by Casey Brown Co.) is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use community in San Diego, California, the US.
The project involves the construction of four mixed-use buildings on 5.2ha of land in in three phases.
The first phase involves the five-story office building on the east called Ampersand, the two-building complex at Interstate 8 and state Route 163.
The second phase includes the construction of renovation of an adjacent three-story building that housed printing presses will include nine patios and 5,946m2 of outdoor collaborative space, along with an amphitheater for multi-function gatherings.
The third phase will include a 130-unit apartment building on the north side of the property.
Dealy Development, Inc. has been appointed as the associated developer and Latitude 33 Planning and Engineering as the master planner.
In March 2013, environmental scoping meeting has been held.
In May 2016, the project has received planning approval from San Diego city council.
In the fourth quarter 2016, construction work commenced.
Wolcott Architecture Interiors has been appointed as interior designer and C.W. Driver as general contractor.
