Bournemouth Borough Council (BBC) is planning to build a mixed-use complex in Dorest County, the UK.
The project involves the construction of mixed-use facilities on 2ha of land. The project will include construction of 5,959m2 of commercial space, 352 homes and 8,674m2 of leisure space. This includes an family entertainment center or cinema. The plans also include a 4,495m2 hotel, a public and 400-space public car park and upgrade of public space.
In early 2010, the BBC invited companies to undertake the development at Bournemouth's former Winter Gardens site.
In December 2010, the developer APB Park Ltd (APB) and Planning Solutions (PS) submitted the proposals to build a hotel, a multiplex cinema, grocery store, 240-apartments, a public piazza, an outdoor winter ice rink, a bowling alley and restaurants on the site.
In 2011, BCC signed a conditional contract with APB on condition to achieve the planning permission by March 2012.
In April 2012, BCC terminated the contract with APB as it failed to achieve the planning permission. However, APB continued to promote their scheme.
In September 2012, APB and PS submitted a second planning application. However, Bournemouth planning board unanimously rejected the second planning application in June 2013.
In May 2014, Inland Homes (Inland) submitted a new application for the site and withdraw the appeal concerning the rejected application. The new plans include the construction of 8,674m2 of leisure facility (Use Class D2), 4,495m2 hotel equating to 70 rooms (Use Class C1), 5,959m2 of commercial space (Use Class A3), 11,530m2 of residential space (equating to approximately 114 units) and replacement of existing parking with 400 spaces.

In September 2014, the planning application submitted by Inland received approvals by council for residential-led scheme with supporting leisure or retail elements and a 400-space public car park.
In June 2015, Inland is planning to include an ice rink in the existing scope.
In October 2015, project received planning approval.
In October 2016, a public consultation was held.
In early 2018, a planning application was submitted to the respective planning authority.
