The project involves the expansion of Al Jimi Mall from 43,000m2 to 76,000m2 area.

The west side of the mall includes the construction of 51 new units across three levels, retail space, dining and entertainment outlets.

The north side of the mall includes the construction of the retail park comprising three, 1,500m2 to 6,500m2 retail units.

It also includes the construction of 65 stores, a 10-screen cinema, a retail park to the existing 94 outlets.

On March 8, 2016, Pivot Engineering & General Contracting Co. was awarded a US$85 million contract for the project.

Architectural Consulting Group has been appointed as Design Consultant.

Construction activities are underway and expected to be complete by the first quarter of 2018.
