Agence de Gestion des Routes (Ageroute), Ivory Coast and the Government of Guinea (GG) are undertaking the upgrade of road between Danane in Ivory Coast and Lola in Guinea.
The project involves the upgrade of a 87km road with asphalting, the construction of security barriers, culverts and bridges, and the installation of signages and power systems.
The project will be developed in two parts: the first part includes the upgarde of road from Danane to the Guinean border (47km) and the second part from Guinean border to the Lola (40km).
In December 2014, the African Development Bank (AfDB) approved funds of US$108 million to implement the project.
Planning activities are underway.
