Actis Capital (Actis) subsidiary Kasarani Investments Holdings plans to build The Garden City Business Park (GCBP) on Thika Road in Nairobi.
The project involves the construction of a business park on 9.51ha of land. It includes the construction of infrastructure facilities such as water, power, access roads, sewers and storm water drainage, and the installation of safety and security systems.
The business park will be divided into 10 plots. Two plots will see the construction of an office complex comprising four office blocks, each of them having a four-story building with two basement levels. The remaining plots will be leased out for facilities like business hotels, a hospital and offices.
MML has been appointed as the project manager.
Actis is yet to receive the project approvals from National Environment Management Authority (Nema).
Construction will commence in November 2017.
