AXA Real Estate Investment Managers (AXA), a subsidiary of AXA Investment Managers and Lipton Rogers Developments LLP (LRD) are undertaking the construction of an office complex in Greater London, the UK.

The project involves the construction of a 11,148m2, 255m 59-story office tower on 12ha land. It includes the construction of retail units, office space, restaurants, bars, parking and related facilities.

WSP Group Plc has been appointed as consulting engineer, PLP Architecture as architect, Jones Lang LaSalle and CBRE Inc. as leasing consultants, and Kohn Pedersen Fox as architect.

In February 2015, AXA and LRD acquired the proposed site for US$460 million from PN and Brookfield Multiplex Construction Europe Ltd has been appointed as Pre-construction Contractor.

Keltbray has been appointed as demolition and excavation work contractor on building basement and Careys as construction contractor for the tower concrete core.

In November 2015, project secured approval from City of London Corporation.

In June 2016, Enabling works commenced.

Project is expected to secure funding from Temasek Holdings Pte, Public Sector Pension Investment Board, and British Columbia Investment Management Corp.

In October 2016, LRD has signed the main construction contract with Multiplex Group.

Multiplex Group has appointed Severfield as tower steel work contractor.

In January 2017, Otis was awarded a contract to install 57 elevators and 10 escalators for the project.

Otis will install 18 of its Gen2 elevators, 13 of its SkyRise single-deck, and 26 SkyRise double-deck elevators combined with its CompassPlus destination management system.

Construction works are underway and scheduled to be completed by 2019.
