Australian Transport and Energy Corridor (ATEC) is planning to undertake the Moree to Toowoomba Railway Link project in Southern Queensland.
The project involves the construction of 340km rail link between Moree in New South Wales and Toowoomba in Southern Queensland. It includes the construction of stations, platforms, pedestrian ways, rail tracks, ramps and passing loops and the installation of signal lights and safety system.
In October 2009, ATEC received approval from the Queensland government for development of the project.
In January 2012, the Ministry of Federal Infrastructure granted Major Project Facilitation (MPF) status to the project.
The project involves the construction of 340km railway line between Moree in New South Wales and Toowoomba in Southern Queensland, Australia.
