Atlantic Realty Development Corporation (ARDC) is developing a mixed-use community in Middlesex County, New Jersey, the US.
The project involves the construction of mixed-use facilities on 11ha of land in phases that will transform the vacant industrial complex in Avenel into a vibrant new community - "the Avenel Arts Village and Station Loft at Avenel".
It includes the construction of 500 apartments, 4,645m2 of art themed retail facility, 929m2 performing arts center with artist studios, 2,787m2 village green and 1,858m2 pocket park, galleries, rehearsal and performance space, parking and related facilities.
On March 27, 2015, demolition works commenced on the project site and got completed in November 2015.
ARDC received US$6 million as funds from the Middlesex County Cultural and Arts Trust Fund for the development of the project.
In-house department of ARDC will undertake the construction works for the project.
Construction activities are underway.
