Administração Nacional de Estradas (ANE) is planning to undertake the rehabilitation of a road between Mueda to Negomano in Cabo Delgado, Moçambique.
The project involves the rehabilitation of 100km roads, widening of the highway and asphalting works, the installation of weighbridges and signaling systems.
The project will be funded by African Development Bank (AfDB).
In November 2016, ANE issued a construction tender notice.
In December 2016, AfDB authorized funding of US$75 million for the development of the project.
In June 2017, Government of Mozambique officialised the loan agreement with AfDB.
