AFAS Software (AFAS) is planning to undertake the construction of an experience center in Olmenlaan, Leusden, the Netherlands.

The project involves the construction of a 50,000m2 experience center. It includes the construction of main buildings with two five-story office towers, wherein one tower, the 5th floor has a special office.

The project also includes the construction of demonstration rooms, the gym and fitness center, an atrium for training purposes, training rooms, a coffee corner, a studio, schools, 700 people capacity restaurant, a 800-seat professional theater, meeting rooms, exhibition place, auditoriums, two underground level parking facility with 731 parking spaces, water foundations and other related facilities, and the installation of solar panels, heat exchangers, heat pumps, soundproofing and fire safety systems, and LED-lighting system.

Just Architects B.V. has been appointed as an architect; Valstar Simonis and Peutz as consultants for the project.

In early 2011, AFAS purchased the land and started creating the master plan for the development of complex. AFAS will finance the headquarters and the theater entirely from its own resources.

Master plan and preliminary designs were prepared and evaluated from 2011 to 2014 with revisions in the plan. In November 2014, shareholders of the AFAS has realized the plans and signed final agreement for the project implementation.

In mid 2015, the welfare community has have made a number of changes to the preliminary design. Following these changes, the final designs were finalized in the fourth quarter of 2015.

On September 29, 2015, the Municipality of Leusden and ASAF signed the development agreement for the project implementation.

ASAF secured approvals from the Municipality of Leusden in April 2016.

In February 2017, AFAS is in process of appointing Building Contractor, the electrical and mechanical contractor.

In July 2017, Dura Vermeer has been selected as a construction contractor and HOMIJ Technische Installaties as Electrical and Mechanical Engineering installations contractor.

Construction works are scheduled to commence in September 2017.
