AirCraft Company Vietnam (ACV) and Germany GBR (GBR) are planning to build a solar power plant in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province, Vietnam.
The project involves the construction of a 100MW solar power plant on 130ha of land. It includes the construction of a substation and related infrastructure, the installation of solar panels, generators and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
On June 21, 2016, ACV and GBR submitted planning application to People's Committee of Quang Tri province (PPC).
ACV and GBR will undertake feasibility studies on the site.
The project will receive funds from KfW Group, the German development bank and European financial institutions.
On July 3, 2017, Provincial People's Committee has approved the project proposals.
