ACO Investment Group (ACO) and Ministry of Energy, Burma (MoE) are jointly planning to construct a solar power plant in Myingyan district, Mandalay region, Myanmar.

On January 17, 2017, officials from ACO met with Deputy Director General of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) and discussed about the investment.

Scope

The project involves the construction of a 150MW solar power plant in Myingyan district, Mandalay region, Myanmar.

The US$240 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of a substation

2. Construction of solar panel foundations

3. Construction of the access roads

4. Installation of solar panels

5. Installation of transformers

6. Laying of transmission lines
