Aberdeenshire Council (AC) is planning to build a school in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, the UK.
The project involves the construction of a three-story, secondary school to accommodate 1,600 students. In November 2016, initial desigs were revelaed.
On January 9, 2017, statutory consultation was opened for the relocation of the St Andrew’s School to the Inverurie Community and was closed on February 24, 2017.
In March 2017, AC secured US$30 million funds from the Scottish Government via the Scottish Futures Trust.
Construction work is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2018 and the campus is expected to be opened in the second quarter of 2021.
