SMi proudly announces the return of the 9th Annual Pre-Filled Syringes to London in Jan 2017!
The global market for pre-filled syringes will grow substantially over the next five years to reach sales of $6.6 billion, according to a new report from Smithers Rapra, a worldwide authority on the plastics and rubber industry supply chains. The report estimates that there are approximately 3.5 billion pre-filled syringe units produced a year and this will grow to 6.7 billion units by 2020.
The market has witnessed continual advancements in device design with enhanced safety and usability by patients through human factor engineering. Nonetheless, challenges surrounding biologic drug stability, manufacturing and competition from other drug delivery technologies remain key concerns amongst pharma and medical device manufacturers.
Emulating on SMi’s successful PFS series, this must-attend event returns to London. Join us today to discuss with your industry colleagues to accelerate PFS development and innovation!
