Conference Documentation: E&P Information & Data Management

SMi is proud to announce our 18th annual E&P Information and Data Management Conference due to convene in central London from the 3rd to 4th February 2016. This conference shall bring together the most relevant professionals in this area to discuss the latest challenges and developments in data management for upstream processes.

In recent years we have observed the increased digitalisation of upstream activities with the convergence of information and operational technology increasingly prevalent. The sheer volume and access of data is forcing the oil & gas industry to utilise this information to inform strategies and decision making to optimise business performance. Technology is allowing for real time data visualisation and cloud data storage have added entirely new dimensions to this field. This has resulted in a slew of new questions.
