Power Boilers Procurement in the US
This report is intended to assist buyers of power boilers. Power boilers are closed vessels in which water or other fluids are heated to create steam, often used in heating processes. Unlike conventional boilers, power boilers are used in applications where temperature and pressure conditions exceed 15 pounds per square inch gauge (psig) and 250 degrees Fahrenheit (F), such as in commercial heating systems, industrial-sized heating systems or power generating systems. Fire-tube boilers and water-tube boilers are the two main types of power boilers. Manufacturers are the largest suppliers to the industrial and hospitality sectors. Heat exchangers are not included in this report.
