Level of Interest in Taking General Courses in Business and Finance at the Undergraduate Level
We asked:” How interested are you in taking courses in business and finance at the undergraduate level? We gave five possible answers to this multiple choice question: Not at all interested A little interested Somewhat interested Interested Very Interested
A slight majority of 50.83% said that they were not at all interested while 17.31% were a little interested and 11.88% somewhat interested. 9.71% described themselves as interested and 8.24% very interested; 2.04% did not answer this question.
This 51-page study presents data from 1,566 undergraduates at 4-year colleges in the United States, assessing their level of interest in coursework and careers in international business, as well as in Logistics, Trade & Transportation. The study enables its end users to focus in on precisely the kind of student most interested in these study and work areas. Data is presented separately for international business, and for logistics/trade/transport; in addition, a data set on overall interest in business studies is provided as a basis for comparison. We asked:” How interested are you in taking courses in business and finance at the undergraduate level? We asked the same question about general business studies and then about logistics, trade & transport – yielding an extensive data set about the kinds of individuals most interested in these study and work areas.
