Turkey’s mobile market is one of the largest in the region due to its sizeable population. Three mobile network operators offer services over GSM/HSPA networks, with the majority of subscribers on 3G services. 3G/HSPA is being used to underpin take up of mobile broadband services, which has overtaken ADSL as Turkey’s most popular broadband access method.
