Morocco’s mobile market was catapulted above the 100% penetration mark in 2011 after the country’s third mobile network had switched from CDMA2000 to GSM technology. In addition, the three mobile networks have become dominant players in the country’s Internet market following the introduction of third-generation (3G) mobile broadband services.
