Description

We've revised our GDP growth forecasts for Argentina from 2.6% to 2.7% in 2026 and from 2.4% to 2.3% in 2027. Although inflation is likely to fall this year, we expect the decline to be gradual, with the disinflation process taking longer than markets anticipate. At the same time, the government will likely keep interest rates high to support the peso, potentially constraining investment and dampening consumer confidence.
