Macro - Country Economic Forecasts - Sweden

Sweden's economy had a good start to this year, and we expect GDP growth will gradually gain pace. We think cyclical tailwinds will now come to the fore as households will enjoy real income gains, interest rates on loans have peaked, and inflation continues to drop. We think the start of the Riksbank's easing cycle is imminent, with a first rate cut likely in May. We expect GDP growth of 0.2% in 2024 and 1.6% in 2025.

Sweden: The Riksbank will likely start monetary Policy easing soon
