GDP grew more than expected in Q2, at 1.3% q/q, after stalling in Q1. But components indicate underlying momentum might be weaker than suggested by the headline index, as it came mainly on the back of a strong increase in inventories; meanwhile, domestic demand grew modestly, and net exports subtracted materially from growth.
