Country Economic Forecasts - India
We maintain our 2017 and 2018 growth forecasts at 6.2% and 7.5% respectively. Real GDP growth is estimated to have picked up to 6.8% y/y in Q4 2017 (from 6.3% in Q3), aided by robust consumption and higher government spending. And we expect a supportive domestic macro policy environment and a positive global backdrop to spur growth further this year.
