Commodity Price Forecasts

Country Economic Forecasts - Thailand

Brent oil prices pushed higher again in April, building on the gains seen in Q1. While the rally in the first quarter was part of a broad upswing in commodities, the latest rally is primarily due to rising supply concerns, set against a backdrop of decent demand growth. Tighter US sanctions on Iran and the latest trouble in Libya mean that the risks of a significant oil price spike are building. We have revised up our price forecast for this year and next.

The following represents a general Table of Contents outline for the Commodity Price Forecasts.
