Sealed batteries have the same internal structure as that of flooded batteries. The only difference is that the manufacturer has guaranteed that adequate amount of acid is present in the battery in order to sustain the chemical reaction under regular use during the battery warranty period.

VRLA batteries stands for valve regulated lead acid battery which is considered a sealed battery. VRLA batteries are found in numerous applications, like toy & alarm batteries, and medical mobility scooters batteries.
