The proposed merger of CSC and HPE Enterprise Services, creating the third largest IT services vendor globally with ~$26bn in annual revenue, was announced on May 24, 2016. The merger is expected to be completed by end March 2017. CSC’s Mike Lawrie will be the Chairman, President and CEO of the new company.Having completed the spin-off of its North American public sector business, and in anticipation of the merger with HPE ES, CSC continues to focus on re-pivoting its business: Firstly, around what it calls “next-gen IT” offerings.
