Sprint Corporation (formerly Sprint Nextel Corporation) (Sprint or “the company”) is engaged in offering a range of wireless and wireline communications products and services for individual consumers, businesses, government subscribers and resellers. The company primarily operates in the US where it is headquartered in Kansas and employed about 38,000 people as of December 31, 2013. The company recorded revenues* of $16,891 million during the financial year ended December 2013 (FY2013). The operating loss of the company was $970 million in FY2013. Its net loss was $1,860 million in FY2013. *Sprint is a successor company to Sprint Nextel (predecessor), which was merged (SoftBank Merger) with SoftBank in July 2013.
