As the aging population grows and more individuals need medical care, the need for anesthesia is expected to increase, which means there will be greater need for anesthesia devices. Some common devices include continuous-flow anesthesia machines, monitors and touchscreen displays. Analysts forecast that the global anesthesia devices market is expected to grow 7.47% over the period 2013-2018.
