The UK frozen foods market consists of ten sectors and while many exhibited healthy value growth in 2014 subdued sales performances in certain instances were responsible for modest annual growth in the wider market. Although the frozen potato products category was the only sector to actually exhibit value decline in 2014 the frozen cakes and desserts sector and the frozen ready meals sector only increased in value to a very small extent.
