Basler launched a new set of cameras based on the existing dart cameras that feature the MIPI CSI-2 interface for embedded vision applications. The Embedded Vision Camera Modules with MIPI CSI-2 interface will be available for purchase from Arrow Electronics in Q3 this year, said Basler.

Kraken Robotics Inc. announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Kraken Robotic Systems Inc., launched an ultra-wideband acoustic remote sensing system for seafloor imaging and mapping. The AquaPix® Multispectral Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS) would be the world’s first commercial SAS to operate over such a wide spectrum, ranging from low audible frequencies to high ultrasonic frequencies.
