This new trend of customizing food orders and opting for alternative delivery options is expected to fuel the quick service restaurant market positively during the forecast period.”

According to the report, quick service restaurants are introducing more customized options on their menus to attract more consumers. McDonald's, under its marketing strategy “Create Your Taste”, tested a new sandwich named “TasteCrafted” at selected outlets in Atlanta, Portland, and South California. Consumers are able to choose from a combination of ingredients, including the kind of meat, bun, and flavor combinations. Pico guacamole and hot jalapeno are popular combinations under this category.
