The ISO 9000/14000 is an international energy and quality management system that emphasizes the use of specialized systems to ensure energy efficiency in the operation of compressors, motors, and pumps.
Further, the report states that one major challenge in the market is high development cost of industrial embedded system. An ideal embedded system is a low cost, compact system which features memory, processor and I/O peripherals on a single chip.
