Commenting on the report, an analyst from Technavio’s team said: “There has been active participation by venture capitalists in the education market in Brazil. An increasing number of companies are investing in this growing market. For instance, Bertelsmann (a Germany-based media company) partnered with Bozano Investimentos (a domestic private investment firm), investing $43 million in education technology. As a result of this partnership, the BR Education Ventures fund has been created, through which Bertelsmann will invest in eight to 10 companies that provide educational solutions and services.”
According to the report, blended learning, also called hybrid learning, combines traditional classroom teaching with WBL. This mode of learning is most prevalent in the K-12 segment.
