Worldwide Services Market Shares, 2014: Digital Begins to Drive Real Growth

This IDC study presents market shares for the worldwide services market for 2014, which is broken down intomacromarkets (e.g., project oriented, outsourcing, and support and training) and macroregion (e.g., Americas, EMEA, and AP). "Overall, 2014 was another year where the largest services vendors lost market share to smaller service vendors. This is the third consecutive year in which the top 10 services vendors lost market share. It's also the second year in a row in which the top 10 services vendors have posted declining levels of revenue when viewed in aggregate; however, in 2013, this decline was 4.0%, which was only 0.1% in 2014," says Chad Huston, senior research analyst, Worldwide Services.
