Western Europe IT Services Market Shares, 2016: Top 30 Vendors
This IDC study shows that the ability to interact with business lines in client organizations and help drive digital transformation is a winning value proposition. Vendors with these capabilities had solid growth in 2016, several of which had double-digit growth, while those with large activity in traditional outsourcing found it hard to compensate for the decline in this space despite success in the digital arena."The high number of mergers and acquisitions has influenced the ranking as many vendors have chosen inorganic routes to quickly expand its capabilities in new technologies. Acquisitions and partnerships are becoming increasingly popular among organizations when moving into new areas, such as cognitive technologies and robotic process automation, as they guarantee a head start and help close the skills gap to some extent," said Arun Dani, research analyst, IDC European Services.
