Turkey IT Services 2014 Market Size and 2015–2019 Forecast
This IDC study looks at the Turkish IT services market forecast for 2015—2019. This study covers a detailed forecast for foundation markets, including hardware support and installation, network consulting and integration, application management outsourcing, and hosting infrastructure services.
"Given the number of global and local macroeconomic challenges in 2014, the growth of IT services spending lost momentum in Turkey. Compared to 2013, fewer large-scale projects were implemented, which is the main cause of the IT services spending slowdown. In particular, integration and support and training services spending declined year on year in 2014. In addition, the strong uptake of public cloud SaaS in Turkey cannibalized hosted application services spending, which also resulted in a spending decline. IDC expects to see a moderate improvement in IT services spending in 2015, and a notable uptick in 2016. This IDC assumption is based on the fact that most public and private organizations will expedite their IT investments in H2 2015, right after the general elections have taken place." — Research Manager Melih Murat, IDC TurkeyPlease Note: Extended description available upon request.
