"The proposed federal FY16 budget provides for $14 billion for governmentwide cyberefforts, a $1.5 billion increase from FY15 and a $3.7 billion increase since FY14," says Paul Strassmann, adjunct analyst with IDC's Research Network. "This funding would support new programs, such as monitoring and diagnostics of computer networks, a new that monitors the network gateways, and the intrusion detection and prevention system as well as governmentwide testing and incident response training."Please Note: Extended description available upon request.
