When most people hear "supply chain reach," inventory management, order management, and 3PL, among many other things, come to their mind. What often gets forgotten, though essential to this term, is the consumer behind the purchase who drives the demand of your supply chain. This comes as supporting the mission of the brand and the retailer as a whole. When individuals stand behind the purpose, mission, and impact that the retailer is making in their local community, as well as other areas of the world, they're more brand loyal, which comes through in their shopping patterns. Meeting consumers on a familiar level where the cause hits close to home is one way that several retailers are growing their reach. When consumers see a brand that has a mission they believe in, they're more apt to buy it.
