Oracle Retail Industry Connect 2018: Modern Retailing in the Cloud

Oracle's fifth such event, in New York City, brought together, in the retail track, 242 retailers and 30 retail speakers to hear about where Oracle has taken Oracle Retail Release 16 a year after its launch. "Oracle Retail used Industry Connect 2018 to introduce its new Modern Retailing in the Cloud framework and to deliver retailer success stories and customer panels and road maps across its functional footprint," said Robert Eastman, research manager of IDC Retail Insights' Worldwide Retail Technology Strategies. "Oracle Retail is continuing to innovate around the cloud. It is also continuing to develop its role-based dashboard, incorporating more metrics and exception-driven workflows to improve decision making for retailers."
