Leading in 3D: Setting Priorities to Support Digital Transformation — Survey Findings

This IDC study presents findings from an IDC survey of IT executives and line-of-business executives conducted in December 2015. Using IDC's IT management model for digital transformation, Leading in 3D, as a foundation and guide, the study presents executives' insights into budget allocation, digital transformation leadership priorities, and resource prioritization. Written for CIOs and other senior IT executives, the study provides data against which executives can compare their companies' progress and priorities against those of their peers. It also provides a detailed look at what senior IT executives see as their critical priorities, depending on where their companies are on their path to digital transformation maturity. "As the best companies are accelerating away from the rest in the age of digital transformation, CIOs must simultaneously lead innovation, integration, and incorporation," says Serge Findling, vice president of research with IDC Executive Program.
